Zheetly is a Chrome extension that adds Excel-inspired formula tracing, auditing, navigation and analysis tools to Google Sheets.

Which browsers are supported?
Zheetly is distributed as a Chrome extension. Other Chromium-based browsers may support Chrome extensions, but should be treated as unsupported unless specifically confirmed.
Do I need a Zheetly account?
No. Zheetly is designed to work inside Google Sheets without requiring a separate Zheetly account.
Does Zheetly collect my spreadsheet contents?
No. Zheetly is designed with privacy in mind. Please read the Privacy Policy for the complete description of how information is handled.
Does Zheetly change my formulas automatically?
No. Zheetly does not have write access to Google Sheets. It's designed to help you inspect, navigate and better understand your spreadsheet.
How are updates installed?
Google Chrome typically updates installed extensions automatically when a new version is published through the Chrome Web Store.

When is formula tracing most useful?
Formula tracing is especially helpful when you inherit an unfamiliar spreadsheet, investigate an unexpected result, review a complex model or need to see which cells feed into a calculation and which cells depend on it.
What should I include when reporting a bug?
Include the steps that caused the issue, what you expected to happen, what happened instead and any relevant Google Chrome or Google Sheets details. Please do not include confidential spreadsheet data, passwords or other sensitive information.
Can I suggest a new feature?
